Privacy notice
This notice explains what happens to personal information when employers use GoResourcing and when people apply for roles through it.
Who we are
GoResourcing is a division of My Best Solutions Limited, company number 14243668. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under registration ZB623638.
Registered office: 167–169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London, W1W 5PF.
Privacy contact: hello@mybestsolutions.co.uk.
Who is responsible for your information
If you apply for a role, the hiring employer decides why and how your recruitment information is used. That employer is the data controller. GoResourcing provides the platform and processes that information on the employer's instructions.
GoResourcing is the controller for information about our own website enquiries, trial requests, employer contacts, account security and operation of the service.
Information we handle
- Your name, email address, telephone number and application details.
- Your answers to role requirements, including your declaration about the right to work in the UK.
- Your original CV, an anonymised copy, and structured employment, skills and qualification information extracted from it.
- Your screening conversation and the evidence-based scorecard produced from it.
- Information you volunteer about health, age, family or other protected matters. These passages are separated from the reviewer's view and excluded from scoring.
- Interview arrangements, your time zone if you tell us, any interview-adjustment request, and interview feedback from the panel.
- The hiring decision, the human decision-maker's recorded reasons, outcome letters, email-delivery records and audit events.
- Employer-user account and work information, including name, work email, role, department and access permissions.
- For trial enquiries: organisation, contact name, email, headcount band and anything supplied in the message.
How and why information is used
- To receive and manage applications for the hiring employer.
- To scan uploaded CVs for malware, create an anonymised version and extract facts for review.
- To conduct the disclosed screening conversation and produce a scorecard with evidence.
- To let authorised employer staff review applications, record human decisions and send outcome letters.
- To keep an audit record, protect the platform, investigate failures and support legal obligations.
- To respond to trial enquiries and manage employer accounts.
The hiring employer chooses the lawful basis for recruitment and must explain it in its own applicant notice. For our own enquiries and service operations, we use information where necessary to respond to a request, deliver our service, meet legal duties and pursue legitimate interests in running and securing the business.
AI-supported processing and human decisions
GoResourcing uses AI to structure CV information, conduct screening conversations and prepare evidence-based scorecards. The applicant is told when the screening conversation begins. Content about protected matters is separated from reviewer-facing answers and excluded from scorecard inputs.
The platform does not make the hiring decision. An authorised person at the hiring employer records whether to advance, hold or reject an application and records the reason.
You can ask about this processing, correct inaccurate information or request human consideration through Your data rights.
Who receives information
Authorised staff at the hiring employer can see the recruitment record needed for their work. During the first review (the sift), reviewers see an anonymised CV; the original is protected behind a separate, audited reveal action. Once you are invited to interview, the staff on your interview panel can see your original CV as standard, because they will meet you. Each time they open it, this is recorded in the audit trail.
Interview feedback written by the panel is not routinely shared with you, but it is your personal data and may be disclosed to you if you ask for it. If you ask for adjustments for an interview, your request goes only to the HR team and the role's hiring manager. It is kept apart from your screening record, scorecard and outcome letters and is not used to assess your application.
We use service providers for hosting, secure database, authentication and file storage; branded email delivery through Resend; malware scanning through AttachmentAV; and AI processing through Lovable's AI gateway and its underlying model provider. They process information to provide those services under contractual terms.
Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where that happens, the employer and GoResourcing must use an appropriate UK transfer safeguard. The exact contractual transfer position remains part of the legal review noted above.
We do not sell personal information. No advertising or behavioural-analytics service is currently built into this website.
How long information is kept
The intended standard period for candidate, application, CV, screening and scorecard information is 12 months. The intended period for the decision record and outcome letter is 72 months. A hiring employer may require a different lawful period, and information may be held longer where a legal claim requires it.
Scheduled deletion is not yet automated. These are intended periods, not a statement that records are currently deleted automatically when the period ends. Deletion requests are handled manually in the meantime, subject to the hiring employer's instructions and any legal reason to retain information. This section will be revised when the deletion process is operational.
Security
Access is restricted by employer organisation and role. Applicant continuation links are random, stored as hashes, expire and can be revoked. Uploaded files are scanned before storage. Protected disclosures are held separately from material shown to reviewers, and access to original CVs is audited.
No online service can promise absolute security. If you believe information has been exposed or misused, contact us promptly.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, object to a use of your information, or raise a concern about AI-supported processing. These rights are not absolute and legal exceptions can apply.
For an application, the hiring employer is responsible for handling the request. GoResourcing will route the request and assist with information held in the platform. For information GoResourcing controls, we may ask for proportionate information to confirm identity and normally respond within one month after receiving what is needed.
Make a data-subject request, email hello@mybestsolutions.co.uk, or write to the registered office above. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
